Maserati has officially launched its “Year of the Trident” at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show, marking 100 years of its iconic badge and motorsport heritage. The Italian brand’s presence has drawn strong attention from visitors, media, and enthusiasts, highlighting its blend of luxury, performance, and innovation.
The milestone also celebrates Maserati’s racing debut in 1926 at the Targa Florio, where the Tipo 26—its first Trident-bearing car—secured a class win.

- MCPURA Cielo
- GranCabrio Folgore (fully electric convertible)

The display reflects Maserati’s evolving identity, combining driving performance with modern luxury and electrification.
Electric Performance Focus
The GranCabrio Folgore stands out as one of the fastest electric convertibles available, with a top speed of 290 km/h. Alongside it, the Grecale Folgore delivers up to 580 km of range (WLTP), supported by an AWD-Disconnect system designed to maximise efficiency.
Bespoke Craftsmanship
Maserati also showcased exclusive Fuoriserie creations, including the one-off GranTurismo and GranCabrio Meccanica Lirica models. These bespoke vehicles blend engineering precision with artistic inspiration, drawing from the theatrical heritage of Modena.
The GranTurismo features a deep Rosso Velluto finish inspired by opera house curtains, while the GranCabrio in Oro Lirico reflects stage lighting and open-air elegance.
GT2 Stradale and Performance DNA
Also featured was the GT2 Stradale, a road-legal supercar derived from Maserati’s racing programme. It showcases track-focused engineering, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to performance and motorsport heritage.
Design and Innovation
The MCPURA Cielo highlights Maserati’s design direction with its refined exterior, premium materials, and signature Nettuno V6 engine. The model on display features a striking Aqua Rainbow Fuoriserie finish.
Meanwhile, the Grecale Lumina Blu Special Edition introduces a distinctive Night Interaction exterior, paired with 21-inch wheels, yellow brake calipers, and a premium interior finished in Chocolate leather and wood trim.
