Founded in 1924, MG built its reputation on accessible performance and iconic roadsters. Today, that legacy enters a new era with a fully electric flagship designed to reconnect the brand with its sporting DNA.
Electric Roadster Revival
The MG Cyberster marks the brand’s return to open-top sports cars, becoming one of the first fully electric two-seat roadsters in production. Designed in London, it combines classic MG proportions — long bonnet and low stance — with modern elements like scissor doors and a bold rear design.
Serious Performance
The dual-motor Cyberster delivers 375kW and 725Nm of torque, launching from 0–100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. This makes it the fastest production MG ever built.
A 77kWh battery provides up to 443km of range (WLTP), while DC fast charging of up to 150kW enables a 10–80% charge in around 38 minutes.
Driver-Focused Tech
Inside, the Cyberster features a futuristic three-screen cockpit wrapped around the driver. Premium materials, MG Pilot driver assistance systems, and multiple drive modes — including Comfort, Sport and Track — create a flexible driving experience suited to both cruising and performance driving.
Award-Winning Impact
The Cyberster has already gained global recognition, including ‘Best Sports Car’ at The British Motor Show and ‘Best EV Roadster’ at the Top Gear Electric Awards. It was also named a semi-finalist in South Africa’s 2026 Car of the Year competition.
